Disney’s Beauty and the Beast opened this past weekend with nearly $174M in ticket sales, breaking quite a few box office records. Congratulations to Lucy Bevan, the casting director on this film, along with the entire casting team. Kong: Skull Island opened in the top spot this past weekend as the #1 grossing movie. Congratulations to Sarah Finn, the casting director on the film, and to the entire casting team. Cast It was used throughout the casting process as the main online hub for managing cast lists, actor profiles, demo reels, self tapes and audition videos. The project and the casting materials were then shared with the filmmakers and studio executives to review and to provide feedback to the casting team.

Logan Tears Apart Weekend Box Office

Logan opened in the top spot for the weekend box office at $88.3M from 4,071 theaters in North America. Congratulations to Lisa Beach and Sarah Katzman, the casting directors on the film, and to the entire casting team. The Oscar Award for Best Picture this past Sunday night went to Moonlight, directed by Barry Jenkins. Congratulations to the filmmakers, and especially to Yesi Ramirez, the casting director.
